“The Creation of the World and Other Business”

Four Corners Company presents Arthur Miller’s “The Creation of the World and Other Business” this month at the Théâtre Les Déchargeurs. According to its director Adrian McDonald, the play — an interpretation of the Genesis depicting “the original” family — is about “individual responsibility” and “the power of love.”
“The Creation of the World and Other Business” is the first major production of Four Corners, which was formed last August “in the spirit of a multicultural collaboration on English-language theater,” explains McDonald. It stars Richard Gofton as “God,” Seiichi Shiomi as “Lucifer,” Alan Johnson as “Adam,” Shelly De Vito as “Eve,” Johnny Sly as “Cane” and Anthonios Roussohadzakis as “Abel.” Altogether, 18 performances are scheduled from May 2 to May 21. Tue-Sat 8:30pm, Sun 6:30pm, Théâtre Les Déchargeurs, rue des Déchargeurs, 1er, Mº Châtelet, ticket reservations: 01.42.36.00.02. A.C.F
