“Jardins Extraordinaires” — a series of sixty photographs showing some of the world’s most beautiful gardens—is exhibited on the gates of the Luxembourg Garden (until July 21, 2017). The outdoor exhibition is in parallel to a large garden theme exhibition “Jardins” at the Grand Palais.
The color photos were taken by landscape and architectural photographer Jean-Baptiste Leroux, who has made a career of documenting royal palace grounds and heritage sites. His photos have illustrated numerous garden landscape books including “Royal Gardens: Extraordinary Edens from Around the World,””The Gardens of Versailles” and “Jardins médiévaux.” Leroux’s photos are also exhibited at the Jardins en Art Gallery and Bookshop, located at 19, rue Racine, Paris 6e (until April 29).
